An Ode to Mother Nature

Oh! Kind Mother Nature,

How beautiful you are!

Providing shelter to every creature,

including the moon and every twinkling star!

Every blooming flower,

Every sprouting tree,

Every flowing river,

And even more you provide free!

You are everything from the depths of the Mariana trench,

to the peak of the mount Everest,

from a land that acts, eats and speaks French,

To pure cosmic interstellar dust.

You are an everlasting muse, full of mystique,

there are myths of there being more to you than the fourth dimension,

the possibility of a multiverse or so to speak,

alas, this exceeds the limits of current mortal comprehension

Earth is one amongst several thousand planets in our Milky Way,

who in turn is one amongst gazillion observable galaxies,

I must be nothing more than a dust particle in some supreme celestial creator’s eternal ash tray

Yet infinity and beyond is the plausible limits of my momentary life’s fragile vanities.

I beg you to pay attention to my ode to you Oh! Lovely Mother Nature

How ethereal and graceful you are!

We dance to your hallucinatory melodies and bow to your every alluring feature,

And this magnificent universe enclosed within an infinite atmospheric jar!
